This document outlines the differences between three terminologies used in Aimy. All three have a dependency to the core activity, meaning that they only become available after the connected core activity is selected.
Enrichments
- Enrichments are optional activities that take place within the core activity session time. Therefore, they are set up with Sessions.
- Enrichments can be selected for particular days.
- Enrichment attendance is tracked separately.
- Typical use cases: Homework club or cooking class during After School Care hours.
Extensions
- Extensions are optional sessions that extend the booking beyond the core activity session time.
- Extensions can be selected for particular days.
- Extension attendance is tracked separately.
- Typical use cases: Additional care for late pick ups or early drop offs.
Add-ons
- Add-ons are additional products or services available, irrelevant to the core activity session time.
- Add-ons will be applied to the entire booking based on the configured frequency (One-off / Daily / Weekly / Monthly).
- Add-on attendance is not tracked.
- Typical use cases: Transportation (daily) or registration fees (one-off).
